"When it came time for our oldest son to prepare his college essays, we were nervous and intimidated by the entire process. So much has changed about college admissions. Before working with Tracy, our son wrote at least ten Common App essay drafts, each one feeling more rote and average than the last. With every attempt, he became more discouraged. At Accepted Students Day, an admissions officer found him in the crowd, introduced herself to us, and said, “I got to read your application, and I am SO glad you are here.” For an admissions officer to remember a student by name and comment on his application speaks volumes about the impression it made.But the greatest gift Tracy gave our son was not simply a successful application process. In order to help him shine, she first took the time to truly see and understand who he is. The essays Tracy helped guide him through may have opened the door to college, but the confidence and self-awareness he gained from the process will stay with him far longer. "
